Focusing on the Bells sounds and the ‘Sineiro’ Craft, the project works with the combination of memory and new technologies, sound cartography, engagement of civil society and valuation of individuals holding the knowledge registered as patrimony.
The Sound of the Bells is a cross-platform project and pioneer in the use of new media for the divulgation of intangible patrimony.
Through a multimedia platform with interactive navigation, feature lenght documentary public intervention e app for mobiles, o Som dos Sinos creates channels of access to the imaginary while revealing cultural identities of this region of the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil.
